Model Based Parameter Identification is a toolbox designed to estimate the parameters of a system modeled either in Pspice or Simulink. When several experiments are performed and are modeled the parameters to estimate can be treated as unknowns to be optimized.

MBPI is composed of several tools to help simplify the handling of experimental and simulation data. The tools included in the set are:

Data picker: Lets you trace image graphs and obtain data points in a text format readable by MBPI.
Data Wizard: The experimental data as well as simulation files and parameter to estimate can be selected graphically with the wizard provided and generate a configuration file.
Parameter Optimizer: The configuration file generated will be used in this tool to estimate the parameters of the system modeled either in Pspice or Simulink.

Please take a look on the left menu where you can find more information including some screenshots. The tools are easy to use but you can learn the basics reading the help or more easily with the videos. If you have any doubt feel free to post it in the discussion board or contact us.
